Prison bars ⛓️ and breaking free

Hey you! I hope you have been doing very well lately. I am writing to share a picture of my thoughts derived from sacred moments in the presence of Life itself—namely, Jesus. I have been pondering on deliverance. Now, promise not to laugh at me for what I am about to expose concerning my previous beliefs on this subject. For a long time, I believed deliverance meant being prayed for, then a demon manifests, it’s cast out in the name of Jesus, and I am then “free,” period. By free, I mean life being totally different from that instance. Change is noticeable, and I can feel it; it’s undeniable to the witnesses of this time. Well, this is one fold. Now let me catch you up on what deliverance can also look like. I am meditating on the word of God, minding my own business, when out of nowhere, a question pops up, followed by a couple of responses. Teaching is in session on the matter of deliverance through revelations: What is deliverance? I think to myself. Deliverance is when one becomes ...

Cheers✨ to good success

Listen, I have learnt the formula for success stay tuned because that’s the only way to actually get successful real good. 😉 You know I’ve been spending more time with my Father right, the King of glory. I have been getting knowledge and growing in understanding about life and what it takes to actually make it. It’s all about systems and processes my dear. Let me teach you as I learn.  It’s all in the book of life, the formulas to get your life machine well oiled and very operational. What do I mean by this statement. I have been in different situations in my life, I have dealt with a lot of unpleasant cards and trust me I have lost it with God almost in all of the situations life threw at me. Life is what happens to us by fate and by the decisions we choose to make.  Fate is a development of events outside of human control , regarded as predetermined by a Supernatural power. Now, remember I mentioned life being about systems and cards. We cannot really control the systems of...

Wholeheartedly I choose to show up for me too

Today it came to me, a sudden agreeable thought that said, I will show up wholeheartedly for me too. I will believe I am capable of great things. I am choosing to partner with God in taking care of me too by believing everything God said in his word about me and seeking more of his truth and seeing myself the way he does. This came after I thought about my life, how I show up with passion for others and how diligent I have done my work for the past 5 years. I am intentional and it is my duty to take care of others. Whether by being kind to them or by actually helping their situation. Thus, making their situation better. I believe my call here on earth is to show the love and kindness of God which is the reason I do everything with passion, as unto the Lord Colossians 3:23.  When I was a teenager and when I stepped into my early adulthood I would do everything it takes to look after others but me. I was always patient with others. It always has been natural for me to love others int...

I left my job and this is how it happened...

I was tucked in my mother's bed the Friday afternoon on the 5th of July thinking to myself how am i getting back to work when my body has been sore before the school holidays and its rather getting worse after a three weeks holidays. I cried and sobbed thinking about the decision am about to make: a decision to resign and rest for the remainder of the year. At the time these were my thoughts. I reached for my phone under the pillow, i started texting my principal Mrs Nel narrating to her what i have been going through and what my decision is moving on. She was understanding and asked that i email the resignation and said a few kind words. On Monday morning the 8th, i emailed my resignation letter. The peace i felt after clicking send... I felt relieved that i can now focus on one stress, that is my health. I teach at a high school, and you can imagine my life and being overstimulated on a daily. I am grateful for every opportunity God granted me to open my heart and pour into teena...

Without love there are no joys of tomorrow

Everyone is on the same treacherous journey of life’s tainted glory.  Our experience are different yet the same. We are in control, we have a plan, we are disappointed, we get hurt, we are loved we feel at home, we are rejected, we feel betrayed. With life and its entanglements we find ourselves moving on without being one with the journey. We move with our mind onto tomorrow. We can’t wait to get there. It’s almost as if today is non existent on our itinerary. Today becomes yesterday and we reminisce over it only on the parts that made our hearts leap. We got what we wanted or deserved, or a great surprise. We felt life is fair because it dealt with us justly, or rather it favoured us. We move past yesterday avoiding a thought about its events; when we got disappointed, when life dealt with us unfairly, when hurtful things has happened. I am learning that the pressure on my chest about yesterday, that makes me avoid thoughts or chats that have passed mask a shameful moment. I am a...

God is good regardless

A difficult time is when you find yourself in the middle of nowhere. Lost , instantly when you were certain you are following the right roadmap and certain about getting ahead. I mean , there’s no way you can get lost when you have direction and a plan. Also, you prayed before embarking on a journey, you keep on praying on the way. You are okay so far, got used to the way even though your body feels weird. You feel different and the journey is certainly getting difficult.  You keep on with a slowed pace. I have been living with rheumatoid arthritis from when I was 13. It robbed me of my teenage years. I remember how I battled in class to pay attention to what the teacher was saying because my sore body demanded my full attention. Nonetheless, I forced myself. Affirming myself simultaneously dealing with death thoughts, a rather complicated experience. I made it because I was determined to leave high school with a matric certificate. I remember sitting outside during break, w...
