Prison bars ⛓️ and breaking free

Hey you! I hope you have been doing very well lately. I am writing to share a picture of my thoughts derived from sacred moments in the presence of Life itself—namely, Jesus.

I have been pondering on deliverance. Now, promise not to laugh at me for what I am about to expose concerning my previous beliefs on this subject. For a long time, I believed deliverance meant being prayed for, then a demon manifests, it’s cast out in the name of Jesus, and I am then “free,” period. By free, I mean life being totally different from that instance. Change is noticeable, and I can feel it; it’s undeniable to the witnesses of this time. Well, this is one fold. Now let me catch you up on what deliverance can also look like.

I am meditating on the word of God, minding my own business, when out of nowhere, a question pops up, followed by a couple of responses. Teaching is in session on the matter of deliverance through revelations:

What is deliverance? I think to myself.

Deliverance is when one becomes aware of the facts.

Awareness is defined as knowledge or perception of facts. A perception is formed from exposure to something through hearing, seeing, or feeling. Usually, deliverance is from a negative thing or experience that possibly disturbs one’s life and holds one back. In my case, my expectations have been holding me back. I’ve recently discovered that I pray for deliverance when I’ve been delivered; it just didn’t happen “my way.” I frustrate myself, break my heart, and hold myself back as a result. I am now aware that this is my problem.

Deliverance is when one acknowledges the facts.

To acknowledge is to accept or admit the existence of the truth. I expect prayers to be answered exactly as I have in mind. When it doesn’t happen that way, I miss it; I then get discouraged, sad, disappointed, frustrated, and heartbroken. I accept that this is a problem. I acknowledge that my expectations blind me from new experiences and possibilities.

Deliverance happens when we act on the truth.

I think it, I believe it, I act on it. Truth is with God. We get to God through His word. The Spirit of truth testifies in us, children of God. What the Spirit reveals is the truth, despite what my thoughts are telling me. Most times, there is a battle between the mind and the Spirit. To heal and activate my deliverance, I must take action. In addition to seeking the truth from the word, I pray: “Your wisdom is greater than mine, Your decisions better than mine, and every outcome speaks of Your goodness.” This is surrender to God. With total reliance on God, He responds to our needs. He acts on our behalf. He leads us to where our help is.

Deliverance is when I am set free.

“So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, ‘If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.’” ~ John 8:31-32. You cannot become aware of your problem, accept that it’s not working out for you, and not do anything about it. This would mean having the keys to a prison cell and remaining in captivity. You ought to use the available keys and find your way out; that is being set free from captivity. This is what deliverance can look like: freedom of mind, changed behavior, confessions, and a decision to do better.

Recently, I learned that if I don’t have words to pray:
- I say the Lord’s Prayer,
- I play worship songs.

It is the work of the Holy Spirit to intercede on our behalf.

I love you. 💛

This is IT right here 🪄✨

December last year.  I love her 😍  I was going through hell and back here. Guys, 2024 needs to be erased from the history of years—no ways! But I still tried to do the things that felt true to me, like being creative with my wardrobe. :) Now, I am the happiest. I am as happy as a toddler learning things for the first time. I am as happy as a young adult who’s realizing things her younger self always dreamt of. I last felt this alive before my teens—before my diagnosis with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis. I am so very much at peace; feeling strong has become the cornerstone of my inner serenity. If this was the only gift I had to receive from God, I wouldn’t dare ask for anything else. Or think of trading it for anything later down the line. This is IT right here!!! I am sooooo happy—said a girl who suffered joint pain, swelling, stiffness, redness, warmth around the joints, fatigue, fever, rash, loss of appetite, weight loss, limping, decreased range of motion, eye prob...

An alignment conversation 🥰😌

Sometimes, the best way to discover what you truly love is to look back at your younger self. Before the influence of society, teachings, and expectations shaped your perspective, your younger self knew the raw, honest truth about your passions. Reconnecting with that inner voice can reveal what genuinely sparks joy and purpose inside you—beyond all the noise and external opinions. In this blog, I’ll share how who I am passionate about now is deeply connected to that authentic, childlike clarity, in the form of a prayer rooted in assurance and hope for what seemed like a far future then. One thing about this guy — he’s fulfilled every genuine, unselfish request I ever made to God about adult love. When I was 11, I prayed for a life partner, a best friend really, trusting that when the time was right and I was older and ready, I’d find someone special. Now, being with you feels exactly like what I imagined during those prayers — like I’m exactly where I’m meant to be, living out the bes...

Am not running out of time

Looking back at my life, I realise I’ve always started early. I began Grade 1 at the age of 5, started university at 17, and bought my first property at 23. I enjoyed the fact that people noticed I was the youngest in class, and I worked hard to be among the top 10 students at school. This drive really began when I chose my subjects and followed my commitment to excelling or should I say, slaying in life. In June 2024, I made the brave decision to leave my job because I chose myself and my health over demanding work. My career requires me to constantly pour into others, and most of the time I had to fake being well and energetic, even on days when I was crumbling inside. I remember one day vividly: I had just returned from external moderation, exhausted, with a badly swollen eye from allergies my eye was barely open. Yet, I still went straight into a parents’ meeting at 16:00, showing up as if nothing was wrong, despite the obvious. That’s who I’ve been all my life: pushing through, be...
